right on route 116. It was first in 1929 and has since been renovated in 1972 and again in 1990. Accountability and Assessment
Hope Elementary’s students’ test scores exceed the state standards by about 20% in both Math and English Language Arts. This can be seen from the table below, which gives the exact percentages for both the state elementary schools in comparison to Hope Elementary School.[19] Hope Elementary School's state scores have improved more progressively than Rhode Island Elementary Schools have and this can be seen from the tables below. The only results that were recorded from the state tests were for grades 3, 4 and 5.
